You know, Chris, all this would have been over with had you not brought it back. I was going to return anyway, but John made the above comment which goes far beyond gloating or stupid pictures. I simply asked that we keep the blog non-political. Just as we should keep it non-religious or non-anything that is divisive. You guys refused to do that. You decided it was better to continue something you knew bothered Nathan, Alex, and I (while I may have been the most vocal, I assure you Nathan and Alex feel the same way).
So yeah, I don't care too much for Horadrim anymore for the above reason, and also because for the last couple of months or so none of you have posted anything that funny anyway. I'm sure Nathan will keep me posted on anything amusing at the library, but other than that, I can find stupid pictures on my own thank you.

i would agree with your comment above if you were correct, but you're not..so i can't. Had i posted some stupid smart mouth comment along with the pics i can see how that would tick you off. But being that i never posted anything political in the little pitty party that took place on here a while back...i think it should be fairly obvious i'm not here to take a stance for the donkey or the elephant. I found two pics that were at most 1/2 way funny...and i posted them. If you didn't like it, great. If you did...even better. But that's all they were ... pictures. There was nothing to go along with them that could be considered a slap in the face to anyone here. If you found objection to them, i do apologize.

Ok, I said it before that John's comment was cold....but I also admit that I laughed my ass off when I read it.
But I see no point in making the blog non-political and non-religious or non-divisive. It's just a stupid blog that has no real meaning or affect on anything. I mean we have the 1st Amendment too right?
It surprises me that someone is taking this blog so personal. John's joke was just that, a joke. Although a cruel joke and funny to Republicans, I'm sure John didn't mean to personally offend anyone.
But I guess that's the last time we'll hear about Playmate of the Apes, or jackin it when your roommate unexpectadly drops in.

quit all this flip floppen (i so promise there is no kerry/political pun intended there...just a phrase i use a lot)!!! Either you're going to stay on this blog and post stuff that helps create a funnier forum, or you're going to leave and force this blog to be "less funny". I can't take all this suspense Adam!!!! Are you leaving or staying??? There's like 3 posts now that say you're not coming back yet everytime i look on here you've done posted again saying something to the tone of "John's out of line, i'm not coming back". After a long day of dealing with mutants....i can't take this kind of confusion.
Ok, seriously....I'm sure i speak for all here when i say your humor here will be missed if you leave, so stay and let's forget this past jibba jabber. And for crying out loud, use the anger for good, Adam. Post some funny stuff about Library Employees if that helps ease your tension. Heck, you know 2 (ok, so one sold out for Law School...chump)of them closely...i'm sure you have some dirt on them.

I do appreciate the kindness on your part to make sure you weren't rude by not responding. That's actually quite cool of you to do being that this hasn't been exaclty the friendliest blog here of late. I'm not use to that around these parts. I've grown more familiar with people jumping in to speak while i'm in mid sentece, people walking off while i'm attempting to answer their questions, and people using the word "actually" to begin not only their sentences and conversations...but as a way to greet people, too.

I'm sorry that you are offended, but this blog won't be censored. It is first and foremost a place to share things that make one another laugh, and inherent in that premise is the danger of humor that hits "below the belt".
So I apologize for hitting "below the belt", my comment was only supposed to be funny, and it wasn't even in political context I was chiding David for not coming to play Halo 2.
Since this is a private arena, comments are going to fly around that may very well offend all of us at one time or another. The only solution that allows for the blog to remain a free space is to try and not take anything so personally. Hope you don't bail over a joke.
